Dan,
Would you please post a LISTF,2 description of the FromFile as well
as
the ToFile and the precise way in which you were doing the Fcopy command?
If this had been a complaint about Edit/3000, then it would be
rather
understandable because Edit/3000 assumes record characters 1 to 72 to
be 'good' text and characters 73 to 80 to be sequence numbers and any
text copying within Edit/3000 runs the risk of 'trimming' characters 73 to
80.
Incidentally, we have MPE/iX HP 31900 A.05.02 Version C.50.00 if it
matters.
