Maybe some of our German or Austrian friends on this list can answer this.

Whilst cleaning out a drawer, I ran across some deutsche marks and
schillings I had from previous trips to Europe. Now that Germany and
Austria have converted to the Euro, are these worth anything anymore? Can I
exchange them for Euros?
