All,

I invite you to visit
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Hardware/Systems/HP/MPE and submit or update
your URL on the list. The Open Directory Project (ODP or dmoz.org)
is an attempt to intelligently catelog the internet. ODP listings
and data are available for free and the database is used by a number
of search engines including Google, Netscape, Lycos, Netbrain and
HotBot.

The category editor's "pseudonym" may sound familiar (hi Mom!) to many
of you. Please note that there are editorial guidelines and if the
category editor doesn't follow them the editor above him will. (My
"friend" has received a couple of notes from higher ups already.)

I've got a request in to move the content to a new category named
Computers/Systems/HP/HP_3000 and to change the name of the current
category from "MPE" to "HP_3000". (The current category under
hardware would be dedicated to real hardware sites.)

Possible sub-categories being considered include: Consultants,
Resources, Freeware, and MPE V. The guidelines for new
sub-categories generally require either a critical mass of entries
and/or a clear and distinct need. Let me know what you think and
I'll pass your comments on to my friend.
