Here is yet another article.  This one actually offers an explanation for
the position that Germany and especially France have taken.  Very
interesting and informative.

This second link was far better than the first. The first started out
by calling the weekend demonstrators weasels. Calling them that simply
alienates them and does nothing to bring them and their supporters to
their senses. It also diminishes ones belief in the subsequent
arguments of the author.

Most of those folks are not absolutely opposed to a war. They just
don't want to repeat the Vietnam boo-boo of then President Johnson.
