In a stunning development in the U.S. government's antitrust case against
Microsoft and the Elian Gonzalez case, Attorney General Janet Reno has
ordered Microsoft to bring Bill Gates to the Opa-locka Airport outside Miami
by 2 p.m. EDT for delivery to Juan Miguel Gonzalez.
According to the attorney general, this was the quickest and easiest way to
immediately resolve both cases. Judge Penfield Jackson as approved this
option, stating that "It would fulfill the penitently phase of the Microsoft
case."
