One component of aborting 1000 network users is killing the 1000 VTSERVER
pins. This could be avoided by raising the MIN (reserved) servers with
NSCONTROL. This has the added benefit of not having to kill and create a new
VTSERVER for each network sign on (to the reserve level). You can see the
current settings with a:
NSCONTROL STATUS=SERVER

To set the MIN (reserved) to 1000 and the MAX to 1250:
NSCONTROL SERVER=VTSERVER,1000,1250

Note: this should definitely be done in a batch job as creating these
processes can take several minutes.
