I believe all types of EDITOR software updates CREATE DATE,ACCESSED and
MODIFIED date when KEEP command is use.

I believe that HP's EDITOR has always done that.  The original file is
purged and re-written therefore all the dates are replaced with the
current date.  QUAD will only update the ACCESSED and MODIFIED date when
a file is modified.
