hi all!

according to the latest perl documentation, it looks like
the exists() function has been extended to arrays and this
is good. but if i'm reading the following correct, it's
telling me the index/position/entry exists, not if the
*value* exists in the array:

print "Exists\n"    if exists $array[$index];

is there a 'clever' way of searching an array to see if a
given value is already stored? i can always write up a loop
thingy....but i thought i'd ask first....        - d
