Hello Denys,

To be honest, I was not referring to any of that stuff about Helen
Thomas or anything else. I was referring to your misrepresentation of
what Wirt said. My understanding of your comments leads me to believe
you exalt in 'Roveian rhetoric', if I may coin a phrase, and that's
fine. Crow all you like. What I said about you putting words in
someone else's mouth is still just as true as it was the first time.

So, to your "nonsense", I say 'nuts', but with an appropriate sense of
affection for the arena in which it is said, and with some fondness and
appreciation for how strongly you believe in whatever it is you believe
in.

Thanks Denys, you brighten the day a little, only a little, but a little
nonetheless. :-)

Regards,
Howard Hoxsie

Nonsense,

The quotation from Ronald Reagan would work much better coming from
me, especially since it fits much better. The "leak" story has been
around for quite a while now and it just keeps getting brought up by
the Legacy Media (or Largely Irrelevant Media) when they can't
manufacture something else to throw at W.

Calling Helen Thomas "the dean of White House reporters" simply
underlines how partisan and irrelevant this media is and how out of
touch with reality the author of the piece is.

When Thomas stated that W was "the worst president in American
history," she stated unequivocally that a) she is not a reporter, she
is an opinion purveyor, b) she is partisan in the extreme and c) she
drank her way through the Carter and Clinton years.

The New York Times and others are in dire legal jeopardy right now for
some of their recent "reporting." Couple this with the fact the
Fitzgerald investigation and the the upcoming Libby trial (if it even
gets to that, what crime was even committed?) will drag a lot of these
precious reports into court and may further tarnish (if that's even
possible) their reputation and may even land some of them in jail, one
can see why the MSM is lashing out with bogus or irrelevant stories,
it's called a scorched earth policy.

Denys

Hello Denys,

To quote Ronald Reagan, "there you go again..."

I don't always disagree with you Denys, but I read what Wirt wrote and
it didn't look anything like what you just said he said. I can
understand that you may be upset with what he said and may have
interpreted it into the statement you just made, but it was not what he
was saying.

Perhaps if you had said, "What I understood Wirt to have said is...",
then there would not have been any confusion on my part.

Thanks for listening, and Best Regards on this most glorious day of any
week,

Howard
