I don't believe any peripheral installation/configuration is documented
in the Installation Manual.  The IM deals with installing/updating system
software.
 
Networked printer installation and configuration are covered in a new
chapter (3?) of the Native Mode Spooler Reference Manual (32650-90166).
Also, with the new IOCONFIG (on-line device configuration) utility, it is
no longer necessary to reboot the system when adding or deleting
peripheral devices.
