Hi,
(Sent to Jon Cohen 9/16, with no answer)
Does anyone know a definitive answer to the following:
Is the recent patch for MPE/iX 6.0:
1) PowerPatch 1
or
2) Express Release 1?
The tape we received says "Power Patch 1",
but the manual that came with it says "Express 1" (on the cover,
and "Express 1 Release" (not "Express Release 1") on the inside).
I thought the definition of an Express Release was that it
included a Subsys tape ... but we didn't get a subsys tape
with our package! (And, yes, we should have (if anyone did),
since we have a developer's package 918.)
Note to HP SIDO: if this is an Express Release, then the tape
definitely & unquestionably should *not* say "PowerPatch".
It should say "Express Patch" (or some such ... but something clearly
designed to indicate to the reader that it's part of an express
release).
Further, is the phrase "Express Release #" or "Express # Release"?
I think it should be the former, but the manual calls it the latter.
Say...has anyone ever run the manual through the HP Inspection Process?
thanks,
