Murphy's law strikes again!!

In a similar vein, last week I was taking a machine from 6.0 to 7.0. Using
PATCHIX to do the Express release (plus patches) I was ready to restore the
data in phase II and the tape drive died. Had to start PATCHIX again,
losing about an hour or two :>(

Thanks to everyone who wrote!

Fortunately, the system is up and running. It turns out that my most
recent CSLT (with 38 patches added) was bad. I'm now about to cut a new
one and do a STORE of the SYS account.

I don't know how or why, but the whole LIB group of the SYS account
apparently "disappeared" at about the same time as the CSLT was
created. Nothing had been compiled, so no problems appeared until LINKEDIT
was invoked today and failed.

Thanks again to all who wrote!

John
