hi all!

first, before i try to reinvent the wheel....does anyone have command
scripts
for new/purgeaccount/group that deal with private volumes? if so, are
you
willing to share them (with the list, i suspect)? while not horribly
difficult,
they're not entirely trivial either 8-}

on the off chance that i'm the only one plunging down this perlious
road...
has anyone got any clever ideas for handling the issues of figuring
out what private volume an account *truely* resides on. we all(?) know
that all groups for an account don't have to reside on the same
(private) volume. if your method for deciding that account 'x'
resides on 'pv_1' is to parse out a listfile,3 report - i think you're
asking for trouble or at least in for a big wait. what if your account
is empty?? what about posix directories??

it would be lovely if there was an 'finfo'-type of expression for
getting
this type of information back from the system...(in your free time
jeff v. :-) - d
