Does anyone know, or is willing to speculate, if "trimming" files is
something to avoid until this patch to the patch is applied?

There you have it! Jon already posted a reply! Isn't it suspicious that
we agreed on everything? This is either irrefutable evidence that the
"conspiracy
theory" is B.S., or proof that it is correct (and Jon and I are
involved!)!
