Tony, the answer is not a function of the rope length. Everyone
knows that a good goat, not to mention a PERFECTLY good goat, would
simply eat the rope, then proceed to eat all of the
grass he was interested in. Tbe real question is how long will it
take the goat to eat the grass covering 1/2 of the surface
area of the pasture. On first glance, one would think this would be
a function of the goats appetite, but further research will certainly
reveal that it is actually a function of the goats interest in eating
grass on that certain day. As is frequently demonstated on this list,
interest is a function of ones native operating system, whether you are
a native MPE goat, a Unix goat, or a hybrid Unix/MPE goat....
Therfore
Time-to-eat=f(appetite)=f(interest)=f(os)=f(MPE)+f(Unix)d(MPE/Unix)
problem solved, and its not even summer yet.
