Mike,

Glad to hear that you were able to migrate over to the N-Class. Sounds like
things are working well.

On the ThinLAN on the DTC. IIRC you have a DTC48. This has a AUI connector
in the back. You can use a 10BaseT tranciever on the AUI. This is cheaper
than the media converter (AUI trancievers are about $15 to $25, media
converters are about $80 and up). Both provide you with 10Mb connectivity.

As you have already purchased the media converter, you have no need to
pursue this solution, but I wanted you to be aware of it. We actually tested
using the AUI, so I know that it works. I thought one was left on site with
the spare DTC. Perhaps it was returned with the DTC though.
