Hi All :)
Ok... had to go look up 'pejorative' 'cause to quote the song "I'm
just a common man" hehehehe....
Um... never found 'Yank' to be an insult just a slang for 'Yankee'
but then I am one! (being a Native Oregonian and all....) A Southern
person especially a 'Gentleman' would probably find it very insulting...
but then we 'Yanks' just remind them they 'lost' and to quit getting
'uppity'...
And as for calling a Englishman a "Brit" ?? um... as long as they
don't hit me ? works for me :) hehehe
Tho' I do draw the line at calling somebody a "British American" ...
that not only is irritating but just plain wrong! (Not to mention
probably being an 'oxymoron' (to use a $5 word like my Lieutenants
always used to do) hehehehe
Art "some 'warped' humor for Friday" Bahrs
P.s. by mentioning 'Warp' does it make this an HP 3000 on topic post?
hehehe

Yes, must be a sad day when you can't find an "OT" on this list Brice.
Especially as you probably filter out all the HP3000 stuff anyway
because you only seem to post OT posts.
For your information, Brit is not a pejorative term like "Yank" is.
Cheers,
John Dunlop.
