SYSTEM ABORT 553 FROM SUBSYSTEM 153
SYSTEM HALT 7, $0229
FLT DEAD

The 553 and 153 indicate a user volume conflict, not sure.

The system will boot, does anyone recall a  utility that could confirm 
or not a file system or user volume problem?

CHECKFS?
