The ADBC api from Advanced Network Systems, has been available for HP-
Eloquence for several months and is currently being used in a major
migration project to enhance and improve migrated applications
originally written in Cobol. This solution is Java based but is not
encumbered by the overheads of either ODBC or JDBC. Additionally ADBC-
Eloquence can be implemented with J2EE compliant connection pooling to
HP-Eloquence databases residing on the same or different server
platforms.
