I must rush in and insist that the proposed 908 be a POWERFUL BEAST.
Productivity for developers is of utmost importance - that's why we
always have the most powerful PC's, biggest hard disks, 32MB or RAM, 12x
CDROM's etc. etc.

It's not really because were nerdy geeks and technocrats (well, not
completely), it's because we MUST develop furiously, and without
productivity killing restraints imposed by using hand-me-down systems.

Incidentally, that's why I've always resisted have a second, development
machine for my sites - it's a productivity killer, and in the robust
HP3000 environment, not necessary.
