My OE5 was treating the posts as an attachment while letting me see the
subjects at the top - I couldn't open the attachment.

Jeff - the list admin - changed my mail to HTML and it is better than it was
before - when I would scroll down - with the HTML I view the subjects at the
top - click on what I can reply to - and it goes straight there! No more
endless scrolling - this is by far the biggest volume list I subscribe to;
it is also one with the most helpful members - thank you all for your
suggestions!

Our 917 continues to clunk away  - I will have to look into the manual - we
seem to have 2 times - one where you see on the showtime - and that time is
used by our apps - the DAT$ function in basic - builds our Julian dates -
everything is fine - the other seems to be off - in that we cannot stream a
job and defer it - it will stream immediately and give the error "specified
time is earlier or at current time"

We are using MPE/ix C.55.00 which I was told was Y2K compliant -

If anyone still has some BASIC questions I may be able to help - we go right
along on BASIC/3000, used for 20 years...(I couldn't read them before)
