I did that once, setting my "Reply-To" field to 
always have some "no_spam" adjustment to the 
address.  It got more annoying to have to
un-do that every time I *DID* want my e-mails
replied to.  

Add to that, a number of complaints from those 
who couldn't reply without manually adjusting 
my address, just like this one you mention below.

So I gave up on that and continued to use my
true address.  Maybe Roy isn't to be blamed for
"hiding", just jeered at for being too lazy.
