Kevin,

This jumped out at me

Total number of routings = 0

Is that correct?   Do you have any gateways defined?    How are your gateways defined.

BTW, if you change the gateway

NSCONTROL ;UPDATE=INTERNET

You could try deleting the wrong gateway and see if it helps.

I think you have a router broadcasting a wrong gateway.   Again, this is a guess, I don't know all the details.

Good Luck!

put in the 11 hr day yesterday, just to reboot the system last evening at 7:00 p.m.  Results:  POOR!  No difference detected.

I have changed the TCP settings in NMMGR.  Saved, validated.  While I do not expect this to help this case, it might help comms speed later.  Do I need to shutdown and restart JINETD or restart the network, to have TCP changes in NMMGR take effect?

Current status:  Still POOR.  Losing another day of user testing on the development system.

Some additional information:
1.  System is only HP3000 on it's segment.  (30.135.43  and 30.135.40)
2.  Still have not heard from Network admin.  THIS will tell me if Network change happened and port/switch changed so that HP3000 connection is NO LONGER set to 100BT.  (this is my best hope at this time)
3.  first attempted ping from production hp3000 to dev hp3000.  (to 10 additional ping attempts to get second failed ping results like below:
Pinging DDDDEV
64 bytes from 30.135.40.44   : icmp_seq=    2 time=    6 ms
64 bytes from 30.135.40.44   : icmp_seq=    3 time=    7 ms
64 bytes from 30.135.40.44   : icmp_seq=    5 time=    5 ms

------------- FINAL STATISTICS -------------
5 packets transmitted, 3 packets received,40 % packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 5/6/7

[3]PING>>>

4.  nettool requested information:
does not look like excessive Caching of routes on dev system
networks look correct as I would expect them to be.
