To those in the know,
Is the Jazz server always so slow?
I decided to make use of the POSIX shell on our system, since nobody ever has, and wanted to download GZIP and the GNU utilities for MPE but the Jazz server is soooo slow, is it always like this? I was able to get the GZIP source from the GNU ftp, but I need to compile it, hence my need for the other GNU utils. Anyone know another server where I can obtain these? I tried INTEREX but our membership hasn't been active for quite sometime. Also, I love submitting invoices to accounting that have the words "No Charge" on them, if you know what I mean.

And while I'm on the subject, I'd ike to hear how others have made use of the shell.
