I seem to recall that some time ago you reported that MAPPER (or was
it SYSGEN?) only appeared to report up to 8 characters of a drive's ID,
concluding that this was why the 'D' didn't show on this F/W-D drive
from Seagate?  Perhaps HP-UX is the same as well....?
