Sorry, but is only my site who uses Esaytime?
   It provides a list of printers, print jobs, etc.

There are two ways, one of which is completely safe and the other is easier
to read. The safe way is to signon as MANAGER.SYS,PUB and type

     :sysgen
     >io
     >ld (list devices)

and you'll get a long list of every device (including all printers) that
you
currently have configured. The less safe way is

     :run sysinfo.prvxl.telesup
     )io

and you'll get the same list in a prettier, more condensed format. The
problem with SYSINFO is that it is known to cause problems if you run
mirrored discs or execute it on a very busy system. For more information

PING is available on the HP3000 inside a program called NETTOOL. To run it,
type

     :run nettool.net.sys

and type PING to get into the ping routine. Many people would like to have
this command elevated to a system command available at the command
interpreter.
