Hi Jim,
I know it sounds corny (I know what else is new where I am concerned,
right? hehe)

But have you tried unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back into
the terminal? it has helped in the past with one of my 700/9x terminals...

Art "if it works, it ain't *THAT* stupid hehe " Bahrs

Here's another strange one:

Our console has suddenly stopped allowing us to enter anything.
What is happening is that typing on the keyboard doesn't do
anything; that is, no characters are echoed on the screen. Even
pressing the return key by itself doesn't cause a prompt to be
echoed back. The reset keys work okay, but even a hard reset
doesn't fix things. In fact, even powering the terminal off
doesn't help. Control-A is non-operative as well (I haven't
tried control-B). An "ABORTIO 20" will display its "Software
I/O Abort" message, but doesn't help either. BTW whilst all
this is going on, console messages are being displayed as
normal. I just can't enter anything via the console.

I guess I'll call the RC, but it's not really a problem...Yet.

So, does anyone have any ideas on how to get the console to
operate again? Also, what could cause this? We were rerouting
some cables yesterday and unplugged the console cable to move
it. Could that have caused this problem? Thanks in advance.
