I eventually found that out (spent ages looking at HP's web site and then
getting
bounced around their phone system trying to speak to a 'body' that knew the
answer).

We finally managed to get an HP2564 Serial Printer to work with Network
Printing
(used a JetDirect Box and a Parallel/Serial Converter) so we should find a
way to
get the 4L to work.

Thanks for all your responses,

Robert
