If you really want to cope well rent or buy a Lotus Elise - Colin Chapman
would undoubtedly approve - light weight + a moderately powered (190 HP in
the US) engine and good suspension means a small car that comes close to
supercar performance while getting 30+ mpg - they have been a hit in Europe
for several years; just coming to the US.

Speaking of gas just heard our prices will hike another 25-30 cents per
gallon in a weeks time due to the closing of the refineries in Louisiana -
don't really understand how futures and options hit us so fast until you see
it at the pump ;-)
