I got Edler's "The Rise, Fall and Rise of the HP 3000" from the WEB
as recommended on this list.  Very interesting but this old 3000
fan and user immediately picked up  a mistake ujnless the name was
changed later?).  Edler says"It runs a proprietary operating system
called MPE for MultiProgramming Environment...". NOT.  MPE stands
for MltiProgramming EXECUTIVE.  I have HP publications that say that.

Now you have todays trivia.  Aren't you excited you read this?
