I think your problem is with CSTM or STM- I think I remember if the system
was shutdown properly and the first time through being up and running with
the network the system runs very slow for about 1 hr or 1 1/2 hrs. I had
tested a shutdown normal and a re-boot without bringing up the network, then
shutdown a second time and bring everything up including the network and
everything was normal.

Not that I suggest that but somewhere along the process of being up and
running STM , or CSTM is doing something that SLOoooos the system down,
