I am using VPLUS and Protos to write an application for the 9x7 and 9x8
series of machines (All on version 5.5 of MPE/iX or higher), that uses the
secure field enhancement. The forms compile correctly, and my program does
as well. When the program executes however and I issue the call to
VCHANGEFIELD to make the fields secure it returns the following error
message:
Error Number: +0852
Illegal Enhancement Type and error has occured on form <FORMNAME>
and the field is not secure.
My company has older applications that use secure fields using VPLUS and
Protos, and they still function correctly. Has there been a change made to
either Protos, or VPLUS? Is there a way to solve this problem? I have
tried creating a duplicate of the forma and making the fields secure,
within formspec before compiling the forms file, but that has not worked
either.
Any assistance anyone can offer is greatly appreciated. I am approaching
my deadline on this project and this is the last thing to be fixed.
