[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 16 Jan 1997 15:46:54 GMT344_- Depending on the printer 19.2k baud is sufficient. However I am also
interested in the same thing. An engineer at the Atlanta Response Center
said he new of someone who had installed a parallel interface in a 256x
printer, hooked it to a Jetdirect print server and suggested that it
worked. He also said it wasn't supported. [...]37_16Jan199715:46:[log in to unmask]

While I agree in principal, my question to everyone would be, how
large is too large?

Surely in a LISTSERV where we are treated to lengthy essays on the
significance of 2001:A Space Oddity, and the endless threads
concerning obsolete (Osborne, Kaypro) and non-existent (HP6000)
computers, surely no one would object to 50 or so lines of useful
code every once in a while ;-)
