Well, keep in mind that the sample smb.conf file only shows a set
of typically useful config options. It was never meant as a complete
reference for supported/tested/legal directives.
Try the \\hp3000\sambahtm and \\hp3000\sambadoc shares for quite some
amount of documentation material that matches the timeframe of the
Samba/iX version at hand. (Does not mean that all works on MPE, too).
