Anyone out there still(?) using HP Openview "System Manager"?

We've spent months trying to get the software from HP (getting Node Manager/
etc is no problem, but noone at HP seems to know who "handles" OV System
Manager). Is it a "dead" product? (Sure sounds like it from the puzzled
responses I get whenever I've asked anyone at HP/HPRC about it). And the
only info I've seen on it says it wants WRQ's R1/NSOpen for Windows 3.11...
which doesn't exactly bring on waves of confidence.

I'm aware of Telamon's console engine and some other potential replacements,
but it was bought/paid for and we're just trying to get it installed (and
hopefully "working") at this point.

If anyone out there uses it, will it send notices to OV NMM? Will it run
on NT (i.e. hopefully on the same NT workstation we're running OV NMM on).

And what about all these wonderful "scripts" HP just announced to help
integrate 3000s with OV? I'm guess it doesn't involve OV Sys Mgr...? If not,
for a site paying for OV support, how would we get this stuff? Or are we
even entitled to it? Enquiring (and frustrated) minds want to know...

Private responses welcome unless you think responses are of general interest.
