Subject: Printer Garbage

Jim,

At one time, I was trying to do the same thing. It is more than likely due
to interference in the radio transmission (at least that's what we found).

- Since it's microwave, ensure that the dishes are truly "line of sight" and
aligned correctly.

- Make sure that you're not pushing the envelope in terms of distance -
that's gives the same effect as putting in a 1200' thinlan segment in a
network (lots of retries, and lots of connections aborting due to the missed
packets).

Our problem was that the dishes were slightly off alignment and we had them
realigned and secured better. We also boosted the transmission wattage just
a tad (within our FCC license limitations), which seemed to clear up
transmission problems.

Hope this helps...

Joe
