Normally, I think not.  However, filtering can be done by hostname in
INETDSEC.NET.SYS (/usr/adm/inetd.sec), in which case I would expect it
to perform a reverse lookup.  I suppose the question (which I don't
know the answer) would be if this lookup is conditional on INETDSEC
being present, on actual usage of a hostname filter, or if it is
unconditional.  I can't think of any other use of a reverse lookup (the
hostname is not set in a variable, only HPREMIPADDR and HPREMPORT).
VTSERVER will set HPSTDIN_NETWORK_NODE, but this is a probe name, not a
reverse lookup (and the original question was about telnet).
