News.Com has a story on the keynote address delivered this morning by the
head of Tivoli to the Networld+Interop conference. There is a passing
reference to Unison:

"Among the highlights [of Tivoli's road map]: A Java-based
management framework of applications and agents for Tivoli's
core TME 10 line of management products and mainframe and
push technology integration via Marimba by the first half
of next year. By the second half, users can expect a pure
implementation of this Java framework, combining workflow
capabilities through the recent acquisition of Unison Software
         and network management services."

The article is at <http://www.news.com/News/Item/0,4,15068,00.html>.

(Is Maestro an example of "workflow capabilit[y]"?
Surely it's not being translated into Java. ;)

All those years I spent in school, and *still* this stuff looks
like pseudo-random words strung together. (Anyone ever see the
"FOG" contribution from one of the swap tapes?)
