The reason I ask, is I have the same configuration on my account with a DLT7000 autoloader 8/Slot. I have it setup to auto eject after each backup, moving the tape back to its original position. It then auto inserts and mounts the next tape for the next backup time.

Subject: [HP3000-L] HP DDS5 Auto loader

I have a HP Q1567A DDS5 auto loader installed on a 987. I installed and configured it on the se port on the multifunction I/O card. I can store files to it fine but I can't get it to advance each day to the next tape. Has anybody used it like this? Thanks.
