This has been discussed a number of times on HP3000-L this year,
so you might want to do some searching at http://www.optc.com/Webbot/

AFAIK, the essential answer is: if you have future dated files,
you may find that they get included in your partial backups for months
to come. Our free FIXFDATE (at www.allegro.com/software/#FIXFDATE)
will fix those file dates.
