We trying to get Approach 97 to connect into and use IMAGE db's from our
HP3000 937LX.

The ODBC installed on the HP is MB Foster's ODBCLink 5.50, and the
manual does not say anything about Approach (Any version).

Advice please as to upgrade our ODBC or changing to a different product
to complete this task. I should expand that statement to say Approach 97
will still be the application we want to hook into to (so I can't move
to an MS product).

I can get Approach to hook in once, but then all sorts of things start
to go wrong. I had laboured under the impression that ODBC would work
with anything & everything ODBC compliant, and not to 'supported
packages' that are in the manual.

As I know MB Foster guys hang out on this NG, can you suggest what I can
do (no 'R' rated answers either please), and how to fix this. I've also
got a further question as to your ODBC driver, but I'll leave that for
direct emails.
