Steve,

We as well port between a number of platforms, and use a lex, yacc hodge
podge to create a utility called gencatpp which in turn is used to create
our *.hdr and *.srd files. The *.srd files created are comptible with the
gencat
binaries available on HP-UX, SUN, and AIX. There are differences in format
with the MPE/iX native GENCAT utility.

Besides the srd file format issue, the MPE/iX native GENCAT utility is
interactive and we would like to continue providing an automated build
environment.
