You need to edit BLDPARMS.ARPA.SYS, changing the
;REC=-256,,V,BINARY;DISC=204800 line to a greater value for DISC (I use
999999 because I'm lazy that way), or set a file equation to a file that
does this. This line provides the buildparms for ftped files. It also
nicely documents all this, so is worth reading, as is "help buildparms"
in ftp, as well as other documentation referenced therein. If you do not
have such a file (unlikely in this case), copy BLDSAMP to BLDPARMs.
