If it altars their cloths (for men of the cloth, presumably), it 
definitely affects Christians, French or otherwise :-)

But you did not mention them widening lapels. They must get in there and 
do that, mustn't they? I mean, I never wore those clothes with lapels 
that wide. Did I?
