We had to check some data on the good old reliable HP3000 GX.
CLKPROG.PRV.TELESUP accepts two-digit years from 00 to 99.
It gives back the prompt when I answer with a simple [CR].
WARMSTART accepts two digit years from 01 to 99.
It displays year 1972 when I answer with a simple [CR].
A WARMSTART lasts 5 minutes.
If I set date to 02/31/99 and time to 23:59 with either CLKPROG or
WARMSTART then SHOWTIME will display January 1, year 2000, 12:01 AM within
two minutes.
But today is Friday, March 31, 2000. We are over February 29.
I have found out that if I set year 1905, then March 30 is Friday, too.
Its disadvanatage is that the file age relations will not be correct.
Old HP3000 Gurus!
Who can me send a castrated CLKPOG.PRV.TELESUP for MPE/V, which _asks_
_only_ _for_ _the_ _time_? If I call it 101 times in a job setting the
time to 23:59 then the date will be corrected automatically.
Thanx
