I guess I'm still missing it. What keeps the bad guys out is the
firewall software, not the platform. If the firewall software does its
job, it doesn't matter if it's from MS or someone else (more likely to
be someone else). If it doesn't, you don't go to the platform maker, you
go to the firewall maker.
