We have one of two options: 1) Get a ~ $200 Intel box to convert network to serial port (like the JetDirect) for their ancient HP Printer or
2) have them buy an HP P405 printer for ~ $2,000.
That is, unless we can figure (or configure) some other option.

I am having the same problem with an Epson printer doing network printing.
If you go to data dump mode, you will see all the commands and the rest of
the file that you are printing, however, you can't get anything to print in
regular mode (I don't know if the Panasonic has data dump mode, but if you
can get hold of an Epson, you can press the FF and LF button while you turn
it on and it will go into that mode). It's a Laserjet reset sequence.
Please let me know if you figure anything out, or find an impact printer
that will work (an HP impact printer?).
Thanks,
Steve Almes
