Since Transact went native mode, it's had a runtime library module in
XL.PUB.SYS which need to change with the version. Typically, Transact
is available as a patch on almost any version of the operating system.
If this is true for the version on 5.0, you should just order that
patch for you 4.0 systems and then everyone will be on the same
runtime library version and you won't have the unresolved externals.

If a patch is not available, there's probably some OS dependencies
and you should probably use your [log in to unmask] from your 4.0 machine
on your 5.0 machine.
