  Hello All,

I am part of a project team looking to improve the backup service at our
site: HP IT in Atlanta. We currently have about 130 MPE Servers, 520 UX
Servers and 200 NT Servers located all over North America. Most (and all
3K) are located in Atlanta. Much of our business runs on the HP3000.

I was hoping that the collective knowledge of this list could provide a list
of any sources who might be able to respond to an RFI/RFP so that I might
contact them. We are looking for vendors/ integrators who can help us or
provide an integrated solution for backup including media management,
recovery and scheduling. While we would like one tool, different tools can
be used on the platforms but they must be integrated into a single process
providing a consistent 'look-and-feel' across all platforms.

We are open to potentially partner with someone on the development of part
or all of this if necessary.

Please e-mail me directly if you have any ideas.

  Best Regards,
  Carl Sitherwood
