Hi 3000ers
Attached is a message I received from the good folks at LaNet, our Internet
provider and manager of the Louisiana state network. The recent discussions
of HP sales and support suggest that HP is going downhill, but it seems to
me they are just following the crowd and still stand above it (even if only
by a little). I don't think HP would put users through something like the
following and in any case would have come up with a quick patch, whereas
this has been going on for 5 days and only today has Wellfleet even figured out a
the (apparently) correct workaround.
